Free Printable Halloween Signs for Your Haunted Home

Every haunted house needs a few ground rules. Where should the witches park their brooms? Are black cats allowed? And which way leads to the treats? These free printable Halloween signs will help get your spooky headquarters organized—with plenty of personality along the way!

Print your favorites for a Halloween party, classroom celebration, or little haunted corner at home. No sewing required for this project, although your plush ghosts may insist on supervising.

A Little Paper, a Lot of Spooky Personality

This collection includes 14 Halloween signs for personal and classroom use. With witches, ghosts, black cats, and playful sayings, they’re an easy finishing touch for your Halloween decorating. Declare a Broom Parking area, welcome visitors to Spooky Street, or invite guests to Come In and Sit a Spell. The witches appreciate clear directions. Their navigation skills get a little questionable after midnight.

Fun Ways to Display Your Halloween Signs

Turn Your Home into a Haunted House

Hang signs on interior doors, walls, or shelves to give each corner a spooky identity. Add pumpkins, pretend cobwebs, and a few plush creatures to complete the scene. A “Haunted House” sign makes it official. The laundry pile was already doing its part.

Set the Scene for a Halloween Party

Display Eat, Drink & Be Scary near the snack table and Trick or Treat beside the candy bowl. Add a few more signs around your party space for an easy, coordinated display.

Decorate a Classroom

Use the signs on a classroom door, bulletin board, or Halloween activity station. They’re a quick way to add festive fun for a classroom celebration.

Create a Witch’s Corner

Gather a witch hat, broom, pretend potion bottles, and your favorite plush familiar. Add Witch’s Way, Broom Parking, or Black Cats Only for a little witch-approved decorating.

Supplies for Printing Your Signs

You only need a printer, paper, and scissors to get started. Optional supplies like cardstock, laminator and laminating pouches can help make your signs sturdier and easier to reuse.

White cardstock gives the signs a sturdier backing than regular printer paper. Choose cardstock that works with your printer, and check its supported paper thickness before printing. The printables are designed for 8.5 × 14-inch legal-size paper, so choose that size for printing at the original dimensions.

Laminating is optional, but it can help protect the signs from handling and make them easier to bring out again next Halloween. Choose a laminator and pouches that accommodate your printed signs. If you plan to laminate whole legal-size sheets, check the pouch length as well as the machine’s opening width.

  2. Select your paper size. The signs are designed for 8.5 × 14-inch legal-size paper.

  3. Preview before printing. To print on smaller paper, choose “Fit” and check that the entire design appears in the preview. Your finished signs will be smaller.

  4. Print and cut out your favorites.

  5. Laminate if desired. Follow your laminator’s instructions. If trimming after laminating, leave a sealed border around each sign.
