Cut all pattern pieces (mirror the body pieces)
Lay the head fabric down with fabric right side up. Place the paper pattern on top.
With the tip of a pencil, poke a hole at the location of both eyes and the nose and make a mark onto the fabric.
With the tip of a pair of scissors, snip a very tiny hole at the location of each eye and the nose.
Darts - With fabric right sides together, pin and stitch the dart at the top of the head.
Lay one of the body fabric pieces down with fabric right side up. Lay the tail along the bottom of the body.
With fabric right sides together, pin and stitch across the top of the body leaving the front and bottom open.
Fold both sides of both ears along the bottom.
Lay the head fabric down with the fabric right side up. Pin the front of the ears to both sides of the head with the ears pointed down.
With fabric right sides together, pin and stitch the top of the head to the front of the body. Remove the pins holding the ears in place before stitching.
Reverse right side out and insert eyes and nose on the right side of the fabric and snap into place on the wrong side. Reverse wrong side out again.
With fabric right sides together, pin and stitch the bottom fabric to the bottom of the body leaving an opening on one side to reverse and stuff.
Reverse right side out.
Stuff with polyester stuffing through the opening on the side.
Stitch the opening closed by hand with a ladder stitch.
Tie a knot at the end of the tail.
And just like that… you’ve made your first tiny intruder 🐭✨
🪡 Wait… It’s ALSO a Pincushion?!
Plot twist: these little guys aren’t just décor 👀
Because they’re soft and stuffed, they double perfectly as mini pincushions. Keep one by your sewing machine, and suddenly your workspace has a tiny Halloween assistant holding your pins (no guarantees they won’t multiply, though).
🧙♀️ Make a Whole “Infestation Set”
Mix colors for extra visual fun:
Classic black 🖤
Spooky purple 💜
Ghostly gray 🩶
Display them together for that “oh no… but also adorable” vibe.
🐭 A Tiny Halloween Tale…
It started with one.
Just one soft little mouse sitting quietly on your shelf.
But by the next morning…
There were more.
Don’t worry… they only multiply when your fabric stash grows 🧵✨
🧙♀️ Make It a Full Halloween Scene
Want to take your tiny mouse infestation to the next level?
Add a cozy little cauldron for them to gather around (or… climb into 👀).
This plush cauldron makes the perfect centerpiece for your Halloween display—and it pairs so well with these mini mice. Whether you’re styling a shelf, decorating a staircase, or creating a spooky sewing corner, this combo brings the whole scene to life.
