What You’ll Need:

• Clear plastic ornaments

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Craft the Cauldron: Start by downloading and following the instructions for our cauldron pattern. This will be the base of your spooky project. Use premium felt fabric to ensure your cauldron holds its shape and lasts through many Halloweens.

2. Create the Flames: Take your orange tulle fabric and bunch it up around the base of the cauldron. This will mimic the look of flames licking the sides of the cauldron. Arrange the tulle in a way that looks natural, and secure it with a few dabs of hot glue, double-sided tape or hand stitch it to the base of the cauldron.

3. Add the Bubbles: Next, it's time to create the bubbling effect. Take clear plastic ornaments and arrange them on top of the cauldron and some along the side. The ornaments will represent the bubbles of a witch's brew. You can use the fairy lights in the next step to string them together so they stay in place plus heavy-duty double-sided tape or a dab of hot glue.

4. Light it Up: For a magical glow, string Halloween-colored fairy lights through the holes at the top of the clear ornaments. The thin cord of the fairy lights should fit perfectly. Distribute the lights evenly and secure any extra string with double-sided tape or hot glue. This will give your cauldron a realistic bubbling effect with an enchanting glow.

5. Add Spiders: No witch's cauldron is complete without a few creepy crawlies. Glue plastic spiders to the outside of the cauldron or scatter them around the base for an added eerie effect. You can even place some spiders inside the clear ornaments for a spookier touch.

6. Add Toads. Add a toad or two to the base of the cauldron for an even spookier effect!
