Our story

Sew Cute Patterns started with a sketchbook, a big cup of coffee, and a love for handmade things that bring smiles. My first handmade toy was a simple teddy bear for my son Alex. It became the toy he brought with him everywhere and drama ensued when it was lost!

What began as a way to make a few plush friends for fun quickly grew into a mission—to help others experience the pure joy of saying, “I made that!”

Today, I still do it all the same way; every pattern is drawn by hand, tested with care, and written to be kind, clear, and encouraging—especially for beginners.

I create digital sewing patterns for plush toys, stuffed animals, aprons, seasonal decorations, and playful projects you can make at home. Whether you’re sewing a giant spider for Halloween, a plush cupcake for a birthday gift, or an apron for a little kitchen helper, my goal is to make patterns that feel fun, approachable, and full of personality.

I especially love creating projects that feel giftable, display-worthy, and just a tiny bit ridiculous in the best possible way.

My Sewing Style

I believe sewing should feel creative, cozy, and doable. You don’t need a fancy studio or perfect stitches to make something wonderful. If your project has charm, personality, and maybe one slightly crooked seam with a backstory, you’re doing great.

My designs are made for sewists who love cute projects, soft fabric, and the joy of saying, “I made that!”

This pattern is not only adorable, but the instructions are colorful (very helpful determining piecing together) and the step-by-step instructions are phenomenal!! I haven't made this adorable pup yet, but I will be soon, to make a memory pup! I will most definitely purchase from this wonderful seller again!
